meet the dogs
Louie, is a doberman mix who loves life, enjoys playing, and will do almost anything to be able to chew on socks.
While he was perfectly named when we got him, he has earned the nickname of “drop it.”
He has found his person, along with their family. He has a couple older dogs in his home and has helped them become more active because of how playful he is.
This is Kathrae, she a mostly German Shepard mix and loves her job.
While she does get called her full name now and then, her nickname is Kat, and it is extremely fun calling a dog Kat.
She works closely with her handler and takes her job very seriously. So seriously in fact that we had to learn alternative methods to make sure she had an enjoyable time learning.
She loves sleeping in awkward positions, often leaving us to wonder how she got herself that way to begin with.
Thor (the dog, not the bunny) works extremely closely with his handler and loves every second of it.
He is a Lab-Golden mix. he loves playing, and will do anything to make sure he has all the balls in the house.
He loves his handler and is an expert at opening doors, and finding ways to help, like picking up every bowl in the house.
The bunny is named Miss Kitty and she likes eating kale.
Koratar, is mostly called Kori, though when he gets in trouble he is called by his full name.
He helps his handler by pulling him wherever they need to go, and will gladly give you a hug.
Even though Lili (the cat) tolerates him, Kori still loves all his friends.
He loves smiling, and dancing, and cuddling, and without any hesitation will make sure you know it.
Fen’Harel, aka Fen, is named after a god of chaos. While he is loving and adorable, he is very aptly named.
He is an Alaskan Malamute, and LOVES the cold, if there is snow outside he must be in it.
He is very gentle, and while enormous (even without counting the fluff) he is very delicate about his movement.
He is one of the prettiest dogs we have ever worked with. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and he knows it.
He is also one of the most stubborn dogs we have ever worked with, but his handler is able to out stubborn, the stubborn.
This is Tahlmus, (pronounced Thomas with an L) his offended look is because we won’t let him run around the back of the vehicle, trying to look out both windows at the same time.
On the other hand when he is at home, while he continues to do his job, he’s a mama’s boy, and is spoiled excessively
Tahlmus is my secondary service dog and while he is in his vest he is exceptional at his job.
He is the reason we had to initially learn how to train dogs.
